'Suspicious' Death Now Homicide: Montgomery Man Died Of Gunshot Wounds
Montgomery police and the Kendall County Major Crimes Task Force continue investigating the Sept. 19 homicide of a 42-year-old man.
MONTGOMERY, IL — The 42-year-old man who died in a Montgomery apartment Sept. 19 died of apparent gunshot wounds, police said in an update Monday.
Police responded to the incident in the 1100 block of Reading Drive at 1:18 p.m. where Joshua Correa, a Montgomery resident, was pronounced dead.
A week later, Montgomery police and the Kendall County Major Crimes Task Force continue their investigation into the incident. Officials maintained there is no immediate threat to the public.
