'Truly Cares About The Children's Best Interests': Teacher Spotlight

MONTGOMERY, IL — Great teachers matter. In Montgomery, we’re fortunate to have teachers like Teresa Daly.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She is the first teacher in a long time whom my son connected with and trusted. He has many different diagnoses which makes his school day very hard for him emotionally. Last year Mrs. Daly showed him kindness and love through all the difficult times. He did not forget it and spoke highly of her all summer. We are lucky enough to have her working with my son some of the day this year as well. She is one of the only reasons we get him to leave the car in the morning for school.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She's kind, caring and truly cares about the children's best interests.
