Warrant

Evon Williamson, 29, of the 900 block of Jackson St. Aurora was arrested on a Montgomery Police Department Obstructing Identification Warrant at 3:30 a.m. at the Montgomery Police Department, said Montgomery police.

Monday, Sept. 23

No valid driver’s license

Maria Soto, of the 2000 block of Matthew Drive, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. at Route 30 and Orchard for No Valid Driver’s License after police stopped her vehicle for passing on the shoulder of the roadway, said Montgomery police.

Sunday, Sept. 22

No valid driver’s license

  • Gerardo Ortiz-Andrade, 36, of the 1500 block of Superior St. Aurora, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. at River Street and Mill Street for No Valid Driver’s License after police stopped his vehicle for not having a rear registration plate light, said Montgomery police.
  • Miguel Gomez-Rubio, 18, of the 800 block of Spencer St. Aurora, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. at Montgomery Road and Crown for No Valid Driver’s License after police stopped his vehicle for speeding, said Montgomery police.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Victim reported someone entered their unlocked Chevrolet Traverse around 2 a.m. in the 2300 block of Amsterdam and stole an IPod and their debit card, said Montgomery police.  The debit card was used at several retail stores in the area for purchases in excess of $1,000.

Criminal damage to property

Resident reported they observed damage to their siding that appeared to be burnt or melted caused by a fire or fireworks in the 2400 block of White Rose.

Saturday, Sept. 21

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Keyon Bell, 19, of the 1700 block of Middlebury Drive Aurora, and Dominikiana Brown, 20 of the 400 block of Grant Place, Aurora, were arrested at 3:35 a.m. at Orchard and Brentwood for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor after police stopped a vehicle driven by Bell for Improper Lane Usage.  Both smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage and were placed under arrest, said Montgomery police.

Residential burglary

Victim stated sometime between March 2013 – September 1, 2013, someone stole 24 33 RMP Vinyl Records from their garage in the 2200 block of Rebecca Circle, said Montgomery police. There was no value provided for the loss.

Retail theft

Leovardo Lemos, 32, of the 900 block of Ridgeway, Aurora, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. in the 2000 block of Orchard Road for retail theft after store officials observed him place a tent over his shoulder, valued at $194 and leave the store without paying, said Montgomery police.
