$8M Mansion's Sale Shatters Records In DuPage County: Report

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville mansion recently shattered a record in DuPage County with a sale price of more than $8 million, according to Crain's.

The Laurel Estate, located at 222 Van Buren Ave., spans more than 15,000 square feet and includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. The French provincial-style property also boasts an outdoor pool area with spouting water features and a fire pit. Inside, you'll find a wine cellar, three fireplaces, oak flooring and cathedral ceilings throughout the home.

The final selling price was listed at $8.076 million by @properties Christie's International Real Estate. Crain's reported that this set the record for DuPage County's priciest residential property sale. @properties listed the property taxes for Laurel Estate at $106,934.
