Naperville Plaza Sells For $52 Million To Jacksonville Company: Report

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Plaza, located at the intersection of Gartner Road and Washington Street, recently sold for $52 million to a Jacksonville-based real estate investment company, Chicago Tribune reports.
The plaza is home to Casey's Foods, Colonial Cafe, Oswald's Pharmacy, Trader Joe's and other retailers. Spanning over 115,000 square feet, Naperville Plaza was first built in 1961 by longtime Naperville resident Harold Moser, who was responsible for much of the city's construction during that time.
"Naperville Plaza is an ideal Regency acquisition due it its tenant mix, high barriers to entry, and connection with the local community,” said Regency Centers Vice President and Market Officer Nick Koglin said in a news release. “It is the perfect opportunity for us to implement our operational strengths, and selectively enhance what is already ‘good’ to make it ‘great.'"
