6th Annual Rib Cook-off Competition and Benefit

Please mark your calendar to attend the 6th Annual Rib-Cookoff Competition Benefit Saturday July 8th at 11am to midnight at the Tom Hartung American legion Post 1977 located at 14414 Ford Dr, New Lenox, IL.

FREE TO THE PUBLIC. This year we added a “Peoples Choice Award” for Chicken Wings for the general public to indulge in and vote, limited wrist bands available for sale. There will be raffles, split the pot, and a lotto board. All money raised helps us support the veterans housed at the Manteno Home for Veterans and other veteran causes such as Caring Patriots.

Bring the family, as there will be fun for all ages. This year’s entertainment will be magician and balloon artist Dave Fleming, a face painter, bouncy house and Good Time DJ from 630pm to midnight.

Arrowhead Ales and Ranch Frostie will be available for food purchase, along with a cash bar.

For all you backyard cooks we have a couple of spots open to compete in the competition, but don’t delay, they are going fast!!
