Band of Thieves Captured at New Lenox Walmart: Cops

A band of thieves was apprehended at the New Lenox Walmart last week, police said.

Heidi Kincaid, 34, and Thomas Kincaid, 41, both of Peotone, were captured along with Barbara Hoover, 63, of Oak Forest. They were all arrested about 6 p.m. Friday.

The Kincaids and Hoover were spotted removing merchandise from its packaging before sneaking out of the store with it, police said. The trio allegedly stole socks, jeans, a pillowcase, a DVD and laundry detergent, among other things.

Hoover and the Kincaids were released after posting bond.
