Crash On Eastbound I-80 In Joliet Closes Two Lanes: Police

Two vehicles were involved in the crash Tuesday afternoon, which resulted in one person being taken to the hospital.

NEW LENOX, IL — A crash Tuesday on eastbound Interstate 80 in Joliet resulted in one person being taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to Illinois State Police.

ISP responded to the crash at approximately 4:03 p.m. The crash happened between Larkin Avenue and Briggs Street, according to a tweet by WBBM.

The two left lanes on I-80 were shut down so officers could investigate the crash, police said. Traffic was able to get by in the right lane, police said.
