Ditching Paper For Digital: L-W Sports Tickets Available Only Online

With the 2022-23 season underway, fans who want to check out games at the three Lincoln-Way schools will have to purchase tickets online.

NEW LENOX, IL — Fans of Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 sports teams can say "goodbye" to paper tickets and "hello" to the digital revolution. Those who want to attend any home games this year will need to purchase those tickets online.

The move to an all-digital format was based on the three athletic directors' recommendation, according to LWD210 Superintendent Scott Tingley. The digital format allows for "simplicity and safety," Tingley said.

"[Digital-only tickets] alleviates the lines, it alleviates the cash handling, and the teams that are making the playoffs are used to doing this anyway," Tingley said.

The Illinois High School Association in 2018 partnered with GoFan to create an all-digital format for its post season games. GoFan is the same ticketing company that LWD210 uses.
