Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic Coming To New Lenox Commons

Flu shots, updated COVID and RSV vaccines will be available Saturday, Oct. 4.

NEW LENOX, IL — The Village of New Lenox and Jewel-Osco have again partnered to hold a drive-thru vaccine clinic, coming to the Village Commons.

The clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9 to 11 a.m., at 101 Veterans Parkway, in front of Village Hall. Participants can drive-thru and remain in their vehicle to receive their annual vaccines, the Village said.

Vaccines available include the seasonal flu, pneumonia, COVID, and RSV. No pre-registration is required.

The vaccines are free with most insurance providers (Medicare Part B and VA Insurance included), and will be administered by a Jewel-Osco pharmacist. Vaccines can be administered to anyone, any age. Those interested are reminded to bring their insurance card and copy of the consent form (if completed prior to event).
