Football Schedule 2022-23: See Who Lincoln-Way Central Will Face
The 2022-23 football schedule is out for Lincoln-Way Central High School, with Week 1 set to kick off Aug. 26.

NEW LENOX, IL — High school football is back in Illinois this fall. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the 2022-23 varsity teams.
Lincoln-Way Central's regular season begins on the road Aug. 26, when the Knights face off against St. Charles East High School. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. The Knights first home game is Sept. 9 against Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
The IHSA state championship games for Class 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A scheduled for Nov. 25 at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. For Class 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A, championship games will be held Nov. 26 at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

- Sept. 2: 7:30 p.m. at Lake Park High School
- Sept. 9: 7:30 p.m. vs. Homewood-Flossmoor High School
- Sept. 16: 7:30 p.m. vs. Stagg High School
- Sept. 23: 7 p.m. at Andrew High School
- Sept. 30: 7 p.m. at Bradley-Bourbonnais High School
- Oct. 7: 7:30 p.m. vs. Lincoln-Way West High School
- Oct. 14: 6 p.m. at Bolingbrook High School
- Oct. 21: 7:30 p.m. vs. Sandburg High School
