Football Schedule 2022-23: See Who Lincoln-Way West Will Face

NEW LENOX, IL — High school football is back in Illinois this fall. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the 2022-23 varsity teams.

Lincoln-Way West's regular season begins on the road Aug. 26, when the Warriors face off against Plainfield Central High School. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The Warriors first home game is Sept. 2 against Oswego East High School.

The IHSA state championship games for Class 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A scheduled for Nov. 25 at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. For Class 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A, championship games will be held Nov. 26 at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
