Franciscan Health Outpatient Therapy Frankfort to reopen February 27
Open House to celebrate reopening planned for March 15
Franciscan Health Outpatient Therapy Frankfort is set to reopen Feb. 27, representatives announced today.
“We’re extremely pleased to be able to bring these services back to the community,” said Laurie Shellito, director of rehabilitation services for Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. “We look forward to offering our patients one-to-one skilled therapy as we guide them on their path to wellness.”
The outpatient, hospital-based center specializes in individualized treatment plans, including vestibular, orthopedic, sports medicine, manual therapy, spine and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Dr. Ramil Reyes is a spinal manipulative and therapeutic pain specialist through the International Spine and Pain Institute as well as a corrective exercise specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He brings with him 10 years of academic and orthopedic specialty training in physical therapy and 20 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation.
“I always prioritize patient needs and provide evidence-based, patient-centered care guided by the principles of Christian stewardship,” Dr. Reyes said. “I am thrilled to be a part of the Franciscan rehabilitation team and cannot wait for the re-opening of Franciscan Health Outpatient Therapy Frankfort.”

Most insurance providers are accepted. As a courtesy to patients, the staff can verify insurance coverage and approved therapy benefits prior to the first appointment.
Franciscan Health Outpatient Therapy Frankfort is hosting an open house to celebrate the reopening from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15. Tours, giveaways, refreshments and a meet and greet with orthopedic surgeon David Mehl, MD, will be featured. Dr. Mehl is a Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC, physician who chooses to practice at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields.
