Free Microchipping For Pets In Will County's 'Home For The Holidays'

WILL COUNTY — Will County Animal Protection Services is making a push to ensure local pets are microchipped this holiday season.

In the Home for the Holidays effort running Nov. 17 through Dec. 31, the agency is offering free pet microchipping to help keep pets safe, protected, and reunited with their families should they ever become lost. Keeping pets home where they belong is priority, the agency said.

Requirements:
• Must be a Will County resident (please bring ID)
• Dogs must be leashed
• Cats must be in carriers
• Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required
