The Joliet woman tried sneaking stuff out in her purse, police said.
A Joliet woman got caught shoplifting from the New Lenox Walmart, police said.
Melinda Barr, 42, was apprehended Aug. 7 at the East Lincoln Highway superstore.
An officer sent to Walmart was told Barr stashed merchandise in her purse and slipped out of the store.
