Loaded Gun Stolen Out Of Unlocked Car: New Lenox Police
The gun was stolen between Wednesday and Thursday night last week.
NEW LENOX, IL — A gun owner told New Lenox police Friday that their loaded handgun had been stolen from inside their vehicle, according to New Lenox police reports.
Police were called Nov. 7 just before 3 p.m. to the 100 block of Kimber Drive. A person told police that someone had gone into their unlocked vehicle and taken a 9mm handgun, according to police reports.
The person told police they believed it had been stolen some time between 7 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 6.
