Mokena Man Allegedly Grabbed Caregiver's Breasts, Buttocks

A Mokena man was arrested for allegedly grabbing the breasts and buttocks of a young woman working in his home as a caregiver.

Maher Yaghi, 52, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct for allegedly groping the 21-year-old New Lenox woman last month.

Yaghi surrendered to the Mokena police Thursday and was placed under arrest. He was released after he posted $1,000 bail.

The molested woman was caring for an unidentified person residing in Yaghi’s West 195th Street home, according to police.

The warrant for Yaghi’s arrest said he is employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital. A Maher Yaghi has been licensed as a registered nurse since 1994, according to state records.
