New Lenox Elite Cheer Team Takes 2nd Place at State Competition
The ICA State Championship was held November 14-17 at NIU Convocation Center.

NEW LENOX, IL — More than 200 area cheerleaders recently qualified to represent New Lenox Elite at the ICA State Championships on November 17.
New Lenox Elite cheer teams, ranging from second through eighth grades, were invited to compete in the state championships following their high-scoring performances at competitions early in the season.
The ICA State Championship was held November 14-17 at NIU Convocation Center. The second grade Elite team secured a second place finish.

"We are so proud of the hard work and countless hours that were put in all season," said Elite Cheer Director Kim Litke.
New Lenox Elite operates under the New Lenox Youth Football Association, whose Junior Knights and Junior Warriors football and cheerleading programs host more than 600 children from first to eighth grades. Registration for the 2025 season begins in January.
