New Lenox Mom Of 3 Gets Special Shoutout: 'She Is The Best'

NEW LENOX, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Fernando Milan who nominated Haley Milan of New Lenox.

What makes this Mom extra special?

She is a workhorse when it comes to being able to commit to a full-time job in Downtown Chicago while still being able to be the best mom. She manages to go to our children's school to be a mystery reader, attends numerous class events and plays and raises our three boys. She is the best mom, partner, wife and friend a guy and his big-headed kids could ask for.

Why do you feel this Mom deserves the spotlight?

I don't know of too many mothers who can work a full-time job and still be a full-time mom, wife and friend. She works so hard to provide the life our three boys deserve and more. She makes time in her busy day to take care of all of our needs, read to them at Nelson Prairie and attend all of their recitals and presentations. She has spent countless nights taking care of runny noses, wet beds, nightmares and the like. Devoting hundreds of hours to helping with school projects, homework and other things for our sons and looking good while doing it.
