New Lenox Park District To Open Registration For Summer Programs
Registration for residents begins May 9 and for non-residents May 16.

NEW LENOX, IL — It's time to start making summer plans, and the New Lenox Community Park District will have plenty of options for residents and non-residents alike.
Some new events this year include Bake Me Crazy Picnic, Under the Sea Stuffed with Love Party and Kids in the Garden, according to a new release from the Park District. Programs for tweens include Tween Bonfire and Bags Night, Trail Time Thursday, and the Tween Float Trip down the DuPage River.
The Park District also offers year-round programs for adults, and this year will be participating in the Six County Senior Games 2022, according to the release. There are also a variety of golf lessons and programs available at Sanctuary Golf Course.

Sky Harbor Park is expected to be completed in June, according to the release. The park will include: two tennis/pickle ball courts, two fitness challenge courses, playground equipment, a walking path and more. The Haines Park Disc Golf Course tree and brush clearing has been completed, and new concrete tee boxes will be installed along with new baskets this spring, according to the release.
The New Lenox Park District Summer Guide will be available for viewing on the Park District's website beginning Friday. New Lenox residents will be able to begin registering May 9 for programs and events; non-residents will be able to sign up starting May 16.
