NEW LENOX, IL — The owner of a New Lenox staple will celebrate a new chapter for the business, with a ribbon cutting celebration set for Saturday, July 19.

Jackie Potocki became the sole owner of Ranch Frostie in June, and will mark the occasion with the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 19.

Potocki, who had co-owned the local ice cream spot at 1259 N. Cedar Rd. with a business partner since 2018—announced last month its much-anticipated reopening after a delay caused by the ownership change. It's been open since June 20.
