Tickets Remain For L-W Business Women's Org's Christmas Auction To Fund Scholarships

NEW LENOX, IL — A Christmas auction and dinner to raise funds to support scholarships for young women in the Lincoln-way area is set for this week, and tickets still remain.

The Lincoln-Way Area Business Women's Annual Christmas Auction will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m., at New Lenox VFW Post 9545, 323 Old Hickory Rd. Tickets are available at $30 per person.

Dinner will be catered by Gatto's, and the event will feature two dozen raffle baskets, 50 auction baskets, a silent auction, split the pot, heads or tails game and a lotto ticket tree.

Raffle Ticket Pricing:

• Raffle Baskets: $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20
• Lotto/Gift Card Tree: $20 per ticket
• Heads or Tails Paddle Game: $10 per paddle
• 50/50 Split-the-Pot Raffle: 5 tickets for $10

Cash and check are accepted; credit card payments accepted through Cheddar Up, with a small processing fee.

All proceeds go to the scholarships awarded in June to young women in the New Lenox, Mokena, Frankfort, Manhattan area.

In June 2025, the organization awarded $42,900 in scholarships, with 29 young women receiving $1,480 each.
