NORTHBROOK, IL — Beer, bites and tunes are set to return to Village Green Park next month. Northbrook Brewfest will give local adults a chance to celebrate craft beer culture from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.

"Brewfest is pure Northbrook fun… great beer, great music, and great company," Northbrook Village President Kathryn Ciesla said. "It's a perfect chance for friends and neighbors to come together, enjoy the beautiful park setting and our vibrant downtown."

Northbrook Brewfest is hosted by the Northbrook Park District and the Village of Northbrook. In addition to beer, attendees can purchase vodka and tequila drinks, as well as food from Landmark Inn Bar & Grille, while enjoying live music.

"We're thrilled to welcome the community back to Brewfest this fall," said Chris Leiner, executive director of the Northbrook Park District. "This event is a wonderful example of our strong partnership with the Village of Northbrook, bringing people together to enjoy great music, and a fantastic selection of brews in beautiful Village Green Park. We can’t wait to see everyone there!"

The Grady Experience, a multi-genre cover band that blends the best of pop, rock, R&B, soul, jazz, blues and beyond, will provide the live entertainment.

Landmark Inn Bar & Grille will be serving sliders and bratwurst with beer-braised onions. Attendees are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner, according to the park district.

Similar to last year, Northbrook Brewfest's beer selection will be provided by Glenview-based Joseph Mullarkey Distributors. Yuengling, the oldest brewery in America, will be available for the first time. The Pennsylvania beer company became available in Illinois for the first time earlier this year.
