Car Accident Leads to DUI-Drugs Arrest

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Anna M. Schultheis-Hartman, 56, of the 3800 block of Brittany in Northbrook, was involved in a motor vehicle accident at Dundee and Waukegan roads at 3 p.m. Aug. 26. Officers investigating the accident believed the defendant was driving under the influence. She was placed under arrest for DUI-drugs and failure to reduce speed, was released on $1,000 bond and given a Sept. 24 court date.

Officers stopped Nikoletta Mlinko, 40, of the 100 block of Barberry Road in Highland Park, vehicle for a traffic violation at Lake Cook Road and Revere Drive at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 24. Officers determined she was under the influence. She was placed under arrest for DUI and improper lane usage, released on $1,000 bond and given a Sept. 24 court date.
