Coronavirus: Northbrook YMCA Collecting Tablets And Smartphones
North Suburban YMCA in Northbrook is partnering with an area consulting firm to collect tablets and smartphones for donation.
NORTHBROOK, IL — Heart2Heart Coaching and Consulting in Winnetka is partering with North Suburban YMCA in Northbrook to collect tablets and smarphones for donation to area hospitals, nursing homes and other care facilities, according to the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page. The electronics will help to keep patients and residents in contact with their loved ones and their community.
"The staff can help the recipients to use the video chat features so that they can truly feel more connected to others," Heart2Heart wrote in a Facebook post.
