Northbrook's Nick Drivas, owner of Grill House, has been stepping up in many ways during the coronavirus pandemic.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Nick Drivas has gone above and beyond from the very start of this horrible pandemic. Before he was forced to only offer curbside and carry-out, he distributed more than 1,000 FREE kids meals for children who are part of the subsidized school meals so they wouldn't go hungry. Since then, Nick has given back in numerous ways including delivering meals to doctors and nurses at the local hospitals, delivering free meals to local police and fire departments, to the employees of the public works departments, to senior citizens who couldn't get out and more. This coming Monday, Mary 11, he is donating 15 percent of all sales to the Northfield Food Pantry, which has seen an increase of 750 families in need. He just doesn't stop giving back!!! Feel free to check out his Facebook page to see all that he is doing :)

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Nick Drivas is one of the most generous and kind men you will ever meet, and is very involved with giving back to the community he loves so much.
