Northbrook Park District: Compete For A Cash Prize In March 26 Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament

In the Spring of 1976, the first known Pickleball tournament was held at an athletic club in Washington. Flash forward 46 years, and the game of Pickleball is now a well-loved sport enjoyed by many. If you’re one of those people, grab a partner and register today for Northbrook Park District’s Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament on March 26! This indoor event will be held at Techny Prairie Activity Center, 180 Anets Drive, Northbrook.

This tournament is a fun-filled, single day round robin mixed doubles tournament (non-elimination). Two separate brackets will be held for Intermediate and Advanced level players. Play begins at 9am for Intermediate teams and 1:30pm for Advanced teams. All check-in and warm-ups will start a half hour prior. $75 will be awarded to the Champions and $50 to 2nd place teams. The cost to register your team is $50.
