Northbrook Police Make 3 DUI Arrests

The drivers were all in their early 20s.

The following is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Gustavo Esteban Cortes, 21, of the 3200 block of Lake Avenue in Glenview, was stopped after officers saw him commit a traffic violation at 12:15 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 2600 block of Shermer. Officers determined he was under the influence. He was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, and no insurance, was released on $1,000 bond and given and Oct. 10 court date.

Nathan S. Scheck, 22, of the 700 block of Tour Court in Riverwoods, was stopped after officers observed him commit several traffic violations at 3 a.m. Sept. 20 at Dundee and Charlemagne. Officers determined he was under the influence. He was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and expired registration and released on $1,000.

Francisco Javier Yoc, 22, of the 6500 block of North Artesian in Chicago, was stopped when officers saw him commit a traffic violation at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at Dundee and Portwine roads. Officers determined he was under the influence. He was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and no valid drivers license, was released on $3,000 bond and given an Oct. 29 court date.

Driving with a suspended license

Kevin L. Hale, 29, of the 1000 block of Chippewa Circle in Carpentersville, was stopped for a traffic violation at 2:30 a.m. at Dundee and Meadow roads. Officers learned his driver’s license was suspended. He was arrested for driving with a suspended license and no insurance, released on $2,000 bond and given a Nov. 6 court date.

Gino C. Alban, 19, of the 4900 block of Louis St. in Skokie, was stopped when officers saw him commit a traffic violation at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 23 at Dundee and Portwine roads. Officers learned his driver’s license was suspended. He was arrested for driving with a suspended license, released on $1,500 bond and given an Oct. 29 court date.
