Northbrook to Host Art of Recycling Day, July 24

Five recycle artists will offer unique upcycled and repurposed items made of materials that would have gone into landfills during Northbrook’s Art of Recycling Day on July 24, Northbrook Star reported.

The event, which will run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northbrook’s Farmers Market, will provide tours of recycling trucks powered by natural gas and information on recycling to help reduce the village’s waste stream, the newspaper reported.
