Big Garage Sale
Some folks in Northbrook are having a garage sale on Saturday. I'm going to miss those in the winter time.
Touch-a-Truck
Kids can enjoy being in the driver’s seat at the annual Touch-A-Truck from the Northbrook Park District. The free event allows children to climb aboard and pretend to drive an assortment of emergency and work vehicles, such as a police squad car, concrete mixer, street sweeper, school bus, dump truck and ice resurfacing machine.
The Tomato Project, Community Spaghetti Dinner
This is the third anniversary of The Tomato Project Dinner which will be
held on Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Northbrook United Methodist Church. The purpose of the dinner is to end hunger here, in our own backyard. All the proceeds go to The Northfield Food Pantry and The Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Grab a Brat and Beer at German Fest, Lederhosen Optional
