Truck Drives into Utility Pole on Shermer, Causing Power Outage
About 45 customers were without power and part of Shermer Road was closed Friday.
The following is from the Village of Northbrook:
Today, at approximately 9:30 a.m., a truck hit a power pole in the 2800 block of Shermer Road. The resulting damage caused power outages to approximately 45 customers, and caused the shutdown of Shermer Road between Willow Road and Holste Road.
No injuries were reported.
