Where To See Santa In Northbrook This Christmas Season

NORTHBROOK, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Northbrook families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Northbrook, kids have several chances:

• Northbrook Court, 1515 Lake Cook Road. Santa will be in town starting Friday, Nov. 17, through Dec. 24. Reserve your spot here to get your photo taken with the big guy.
• Heritage Oaks Golf Club, 3535 Dundee Road. Have breakfast or lunch with Santa at this Northbrook Park District-sponsored event on Saturday, Dec. 2. Make a reservation and find out more here.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged. There are Bass Pro Shops located in Gurnee and Bolingbrook. The closest Cabela's is in Hoffman Estates.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Chicago, Santa arrived at the 111 N. State St. location on Nov. 4 and will be there through Christmas Eve. Reservations are required. Find out more here.

Santa is coming to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores on Black Friday, which is Nov. 24 this year. In Northbrook, see Santa at the store at 199 Skokie Blvd. (Village Square of Northbrook).

JC Penney stores, including stores in Niles, Schaumburg and Vernon Hills, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
