OAK BROOK, IL — The popular Chicago-based restaurant, Beatrix, is aiming to open its first suburban location in Oakbrook Mall in 2019. The coffeehouse and restaurant's Oak Brook location will offer fresh juice and inventive options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu at Beatrix offers an array of diverse options. For breakfast and brunch, diners can nosh on a braised pot roast and egg sandwich while they sip fresh coffee or juice. At lunchtime, the menu shifts to include such entrees as salmon glazed with chili and chocolate. Popular dinner dishes range from vegan cauliflower steak to housemade ricotta ravioli. Diners can pair their drinks with a wine or cocktail from Beatrix's extensive menu. If you want a non-alcoholic refresher, try one of the restaurant's freshly squeezed juices.
