OAK BROOK, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
After being furloughed from her job, she took a job working as a shopper for online groceries. Actually, she works at 2 different grocery stores, starting at 4 am and averages 80 hours a week!!!
Her hands are totally destroyed from all the handwashing. (You can’t imagine how bad they are!) No amount of lotion helps!
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
