Blake-Lamb Hosts 'Christmas In July' Toy Drive For Chicagoland Toys For Tots

OAK LAWN, IL — The Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade will kick-stand up Saturday, July 19, for the “Christmas In July Toy Drive” in Oak Lawn hosted by Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. Drop off a new unwrapped toy or book on or before the “Christmas In July” event and receive a free raffle ticket for a grand prize. All toy donations will go to Chicagoland Toys for Tots.

Riders will start gathering at Chapel Hill Gardens South, 11333 S. Central Ave. Oak Lawn at 9:30 a.m. Kickstands go up at 10:30 a.m. when motorcycles depart through Chapel Hill's north gate and then head east on 111th Street, turning north at Cicero Avenue, arriving around 10:45 a.m. at Blake-Lamb, 4727 W. 103rd St. (103rd Street and Cicero Avenue).

Drop off a new unwrapped toy or book on or before the event and receive a free raffle ticket for a grand prize. All toy donations collected by the funeral home will go to Chicagoland Toys for Tots.

There will be story time with Mrs. Claus, ornament making, and pictures with Summer Santa and his elves, plus frozen treats and hot dogs.

- Chapel Hill Gardens South, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn.
