Joey's Red Hots Brings Famous Dogs, Beef, Tacos And More To Burbank Area
Joey's Red Hots brings its legendary dogs, beef and tacos to the Burbank area at a grand opening and ribbon cutting Tuesday, July 29.

BURBANK, IL — There’s another salad in a bun coming to the area. Joey’s Red Hots, famous for its dogs, beef and more, is openings its eighth location in Burbank. The grand opening is set for Tuesday, July 29, at 79th Street and Lavergne Avenue, next to Woodspring Suite.
Joey’s offers a savory menu of hot dogs, char-broiled burgers, Philly cheese steaks, supreme tacos, salads, starters, fries, onion rings, cheese curds and more. The new location offers indoor seating, outdoor patio and parking for 100 in the new strip mall next to the hotel.
Mayor Dave Gilgenberg, the former Burbank fire chief, will cut the ribbon on the exciting new eatery at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

“We had an opportunity present itself,” said Joey’s co-owner Anthony Nardo. “It’s a perfect fit. We wanted to in the Oak Lawn-Midway area. “
Nardo added that the 79th Street corridor is undergoing rapid development with new strip malls and office buildings, maybe for that new light industrial development proposed for Ford City Mall.

“We’re excited to celebrate this new venture, and we can’t wait to chow down on Joey’s legendary dogs, beef, and more,” said Meg Giera, of the Burbank Chamber of Commerce. “Come hungry and ready to support local.”
