Traffic Alerts Activated Around SeatGeek For Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash Music Fest

BRIDGEVIEW, IL — Lyrical Lemonde’s 2025 Summer Smash returns to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview for three days, June 20 to June 22, showcasing some of the hottest names in hip hop.

Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday, June 20, and 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. Shows are expected to end at midnight Friday and Saturday, and at 10:30 p.m. Sunday. This is an all-ages festival.

More than 50 performances will be featured across three stages in a lineup described by Billboard as “potentially culture-shaking performances.” Headliners are the newly formed duo Don Toliver and Yeat (Friday), Future (Saturday), and Young Thug (Sunday) in his first live performances since his release from jail after pleading guilty to RICO charges.

Throughout the music festival, the Bridgeport Police Department will enact festival street closures and its residential street program, limiting access to residential areas to residents and their guests.

Residents having guests during this weekend's events should contact the Community Service Office at 708-594-2525 to obtain permits for their guests to gain access to residential areas and to park on local streets.

Heavy traffic is expected to be especially heavy around SeatGeek, 7000 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, from 1 p.m. to midnight, Friday, and from 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday. Police say it’s best to avoid traveling in the area between 10 p.m. and midnight, all three nights.

A number of residential streets will be closed to concert traffic. To keep concertgoers out and residential traffic flowing, vehicles should have a 2025 Village of Bridgeview vehicle sticker. If you don’t have a vehicle sticker, you can pick one up the village hall customer service desk.

Residents entertaining guests during the festival weekend need to call village hall to request passes for their guests as soon as possible. Birthday celebrations, anniversaries, graduation parties, or any other type of planned private party must be called into village hall. Residents who communicate with village hall regarding planned parties will receive special passes for their guests to enter in and out of the residential area of Bridgeview.
