OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn police will be conducting training Tuesday, April 8, that may look and sound realistic. The training will be held from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. in the vacant buildings in the 9900 block of South Melvina Avenue.
There will be a large police presence, loud noises and the sounds of simulated gunfire. The training will impact traffic or parking in the area.
If you see someone freaking out on social media, tell them it's only a drill.
