Oak Lawn Spartan Athletes Honored For Skills On The Field And In The Classroom
Oak Lawn Community High School 2024-2025 student-athletes recognized for the prowess in sports and in the classroom.

OAK LAWN, IL — Each spring, the Illinois High School Association and the South Suburban Conference recognize student-athletes for their performance on the playing field and in the classroom with the Scholastic Achievement Awards and the All-Academic Athletic Teams.
The IHSA honors senior and junior who have completed at least one full season in an IHSA interscholastic activity and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The SSC honors senior varsity athletes who have completed at least one full season in an SSC interscholastic activity and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. The SSC All-Academic selections are denoted with an asterisk.
Here’s a look at each sport’s athletes at Oak Lawn Community High School.

In Badminton the recipients are Julia Bolcarovic, Abigail Leeds, Camila Perez-Padilla, Sara Abdelrahman, Gabriela Bednarczyk, Noemi Castillo, Madyson Kane*, and Emily Moyer*.
In Baseball the honorees include Jack Dempsey, Eli Kulpinski, John Olejniczak, Manuel Rangel*, and Aidan Shopper.

Isaac Bayas, Oluwasemilogo Oyekunle*, and Kyle Rzepka* were the recipients In Boys Tennis.
In Boys Track and Field, it is Mustafa Adam, Mohammad Hamad, Charles Levora, Emiliano Lopez, Michael Lopez, Jesse Paredes, Gavin Rybicki*, Salameh Salman*, Charles Tuppal, and Tadgh Walsh.
Boys Volleyball honorees are Marco Budzak, Tristan Kramarz*, Oisin Walsh*, and Ivan Zamora.
Alexandra De La Sancha and Haydee Manriquez were the recognized recipients in Girls Soccer.
For Girls Track and Field the recipients are Sujood Abukhroub, Allison Brown*, Emma Delberto, Annie McGrath*, Alyssa Paplawskas, Delaney Phillips*, Lamia Quinones*, Rawan Sharfi, Briana Torres*, Hadeel Yasin*, and Munya Yasin.
Finally, in Softball the honorees are Kaitlyn Berkery*, Kaitlyn Casey*, Flor Martinez*, Charvelle McLain*, and Clark Zylius.
* Connotes SSC senior athletes.
