Oak Lawn Spartan Hurler John Olejniczak Named 'Athlete Of The Month'

OAK LAWN, IL — He pitches, he plays defense, and he dominates on the mound. Junior John Olejniczak has done it all for the Oak Lawn Community High School baseball team this season, which included a spring trip to Alabama. He has 10 hits in his first 15 at-bats, five doubles, and six RBIs.

On the mound, Olejniczak pitched four innings and allowed just one hit with eight strikeouts. In addition, he has played a stellar first base and outfield for the Spartans.

The OLCHS Athletic Department recognized these accomplishments with the honor of “Athlete of the Month” for March.
