Oak Lawn Fireworks Will Blast Off July 4th At Richards, Open Swim Hours At OL Pools

OAK LAWN, IL — Staying in town for the Fourth of July? The Oak Lawn Park District has plenty of activities lined up to keep you entertained this weekend.
Open Swim
Central Pool
Central Pool & Centennial Aquatic Center, 9400 S. Kenton Ave., Oak Lawn, will be open for early lap swim and water jogging from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on July 4. Drop in $6 residents/$8 non-resident.
The pool will reopen at 11 a.m. for open swim through 4 p.m. Drop-in is $7 per person.

Centennial Park Pool
Centennial Park Pool, 93rd Street and Nasville Ave., will have open swim from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 4. Admission is $7 per person.

Fireworks
For everyone who asked about Oak Lawn fireworks, the fireworks will be bursting in air on July 4, at dusk at Richards High School, 106th Street and Central Avenue.
Bring your oos, ahhs, blankets, chairs and snacks and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.
Clean Up
There is going to be a lot of fireworks debris so join parks mascot Duke Mallard’s Ultimate Kleaning Krew on Saturday, July 5. Grab your family, friends and a garbage bag. Find your nearest park and help pick up some trash. Clean up is going on all day.
