OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School has been named a 2024-2025 Project Lead The Way Distinguished School for its commitment to increasing student access, engagement and achievement in its PLTW programs.

The Project Lead The Way high school programs prepare students for the ever evolving 21st century careers of tomorrow, by not only incorporating STEM skills into their learning but building students’ collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills. This way, they can be ready for whatever path they take.

“I am very proud of Dan Kenny and the students in our PLTW program,” the OLCHS Career Technology Education Department Chair Jen Faro said. “The hard work and dedication put into the program is evident by the student outcomes. I know our program is preparing our students to become college and career-ready.”
