Get Down At Burbank Park District's 'Party In The Park,' Thursday Through Sunday
Head over to Narrangansett Park June 26 to June 29, for bands, big rides, beer tent, food, kids games and a big firework show Saturday.
BURBANK, IL — Party down this weekend, June 26 to June 29, at Party In The Park, presented by the City of Burbank and Burbank Park District. The party gets going at Narragansett Park, 77th Street and Narragansett.
Get ready for an epic four days of music and magical moments. This is Burbank’s big summer blast featuring rides for big and little folks provided by A&A Amusements, bands, bingo, beer tent, games and great family fun. Admission and parking are free. Come party in the park and still have time to get together with friends and family on America’s birthday later in the week.
One-day wristbands for rides will be available each day of the carnival for $30 that can be used on all rides from 5 to 10 p.m.

Party In the Park features acclaimed regional bands in the beer tent, including Little Giant, MacKenzie O’Brien Band, Hi Infidelity, BlockStar, Stereo Types, Libido Funk Circus, Buckshot Bully and Mixtape Junkies.

Popular area restaurants Pollo Negro, Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe, La Michoacna Azteca and Durbin’s will be selling food in the beer tent, as well as carnival fare.
A pie-eating contest, horseshoe and bags tourneys (registration required) will be offered, along with bingo, community tent, pony rides and a petting zoo, airbrush tattoos, reptile show and a musician are also planned.
A huge fireworks show – one of the biggest in the south suburbs – will be shot off at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28.
To keep Party in the Park safe and secure, only clear plastic, vinyl to see-thru mesh bags are allowed. Purses with or without straps must not exceed 4 ½ X 6 ½ inches. Diaper bags, medical supplies, strollers, wagons, etc. are subject to inspection during the event. See what’s allowed, what’s not allowed.
A youth supervision policy will also be in effect from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 26 through June 29. Youths age 17 and under are not permitted to be at the event without an adult age 21 and over, with proof of age. Only one adult per six youths are allowed. Read the policy.
The following street closures will be in effect from 2 p.m. June 26 through 10 p.m. June 29, on 77th Street between Moody Avenue and Nagle Avenue, per the Burbank Police Department.
Barricades will be set up on the following streets:
- Moody Avenue at 77th St.
- Melvina Avenue at 77th St.
- Merrimac Avenue at 77th St.
- Mobile Avenue at 77th St.
- Mulligan Avenue at 77th St.
- Nagle Avenue at 77th St.
