Oak Lawn Community High School Senior Teagan Krzystof Named Female Athlete Of The Month

OAK LAWN, IL — Senior Teagan Krzystof started off the softball season at Oak Lawn Community High School with a flourish. She was on fire at the plate and grabbed everything close to her in the field at shortstop. As a result, Krzystof was named as OLCHS Athlete of Month for March.

In four games she batted .529 with two doubles, five RBIs, five runs scored, two walks, and four stolen bases. She totaled nine hits for the month while playing a strong defensive game as well.

“Her defense has also been impressive, making difficult plays look easy,” head coach Shawn Neubauer said. “She encourages her teammates to improve daily and is one of the main reasons why the Spartans were given a ranking in the Top 10 by the Daily Southtown.”
