Images Released Of Vehicle Believed To Be Used By 2 Suspects In Oak Lawn Home Invasion
The homeowner said that two masked men forced their way through his back door and robbed his home while one held a gun on him, police said.
OAK LAWN, IL — Masked gunmen forced their way into an Oak Lawn residence in broad daylight, where they robbed the homeowner at gunpoint, police said.
Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oak Lawn police responded to a home invasion in the area of 90th Street and Sproat Avenue. The homeowner, who was uninjured, told officers that two masked men forced their way through the back door into his house. One of the men pointed a handgun at him.
The two assailants fled with proceeds from the home. They fled the scene in a newer black Ford Ranger, of which police released images.
