Ross Dress For Less Opens on Western Avenue This Saturday

Ross Dress for Less is opening their newest location on Oct. 12 at 9 a.m. 

The discount clothing store, located at 9142 S. Western Ave., is the latest retailer to open in the expanding shopping center that saw Meijer and Menards open their doors in recent months. 

Ross is the largest "off-price" apparel chain in the county and has more than 1,100 stores. A total of four Ross stores are opening in the Chicago area this weekend. 

As part of the opening weekend festivities, the store will be giving away $1,000 in gift cards. From Oct. 12 to 20 shoppers can enter to win a $500 or $100 shopping spree at the store. 

The new store will carry brand names in apparel, shows, accessories and home fashions and the company says their prices are 20 to 60 percent less than department stores.                                    

Regular store hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The store's telephone number is 708-424-1504.
