St. Catherine Carnival Dates Set, Mega Passes Available Presale Only

OAK LAWN, IL — Summer is racing toward us, with just six weeks to go until the St. Catherine of Alexandria Carnival, 10621 S. Kedvale Ave.,, Oak Lawn. The carnival is a major source of funding for the parish elementary school by keeping the cost of tuition manageable and contributing to the upkeep of facilities.

One of the bookends of summer (St. Gerald has its carnival in August), the St. Catherine parish carnival is set for June 4 to June 8. This year, the carnival company, North American Midway Entertainment, is changing how they do their tickets.

To save time and money, the carnival committee recommends buying daily wristbands for $25 in advance, or $30 during the carnival. Mega passes are $100 and will only be available for advance purchase. A number of presale dates have been scheduled before the carnival.

Also, five levels of sponsorship are being offered, providing great exposure for your business or organization, including your logo on Facebook/school website, parish bulleting acknowledgement, vinyl banner in the beer garden, and your company logo on the commemorative T-shirt. The deadline for sponsorships is April 30, but organizers will continue to accept donations until the carnival kicks off. Carnival goers also have some great bands to look forward to, including Electricland, Joe Fascetta, Rocks Off, Sorry For Partying, The Boils (Irish tunes), Motown Nation, Grace & John and The County Night.
