Steering Column Busted, Ignition Pushed In On 2 Vehicles Parked Overnight In Palos Hills
Two vehicles were severely damaged during the overnight hours of May 9, reports said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Two vehicles were severely damaged during the overnight hours of May 9, in what appeared to be attempted vehicle thefts, reports said.
The owner of a Hyundai Sonata told Palos Hills police that they parked their vehicle in the driveway on May 8, in the 10500 block of Michael Drive. The next day, they entered their car, only to discover that the steering column had been busted, and they were unable to start it.
In the 10300 block of Kathy Court, another vehicle was found damaged in the driveway on May 9. When the owner got into the vehicle, the ignition had been pushed in and the passenger window was damaged. Nothing appeared missing.
