Police said Joseph McCoy and Jeremy Hill hit and robbed a man outside Orland Square Mall and were found and arrested 2 hours later.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Two men were arrested Thursday afternoon less than two hours after police said they hit and robbed a man who was walking in the parking lot of Orland Square Mall.
According to officials, a man was walking outside of 3 Orland Square Drive when he was approached by a white car at around 12:45 p.m. Thursday. A passenger inside the car moved to grab the man and showed him a handgun. When the man attempted to run away, the other man hit him in the head with the gun, which broke apart upon impact.
The man was able to run away but the driver and passenger in the car took his bag and drove off. Police found the piece of the gun in the parking lot and used video footage to identify the vehicle.
