4 Restaurants Planned For Former Toys 'R' Us Space In Orland Park
Four new restaurants are in the plans for the site of the former Toys 'R' Us store near 151st and La Grange.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The village board voted unanimously last week to approve the "LaGrange Square" project, clearing the way for four new restaurants to open in Orland Park at the site of the former Toys 'R' Us store near 151st Street and La Grange Road.
The new restaurants will be housed in three buildings that will replace the Toys 'R' Us, which is planned for demolition.
Ed Lelo, director of development services for the Village of Orland Park, said a BJ's Brewhouse will be in a "standalone" building at the site. A Panera Bread and Chipotle will be in a second building, and a Raising Cane's will be in the third building with a drive-thru.

Mayor Keith Pekau called this "a great project for the village."
"This is great news for Orland Park to see redevelopment on that corner, even during this time," Pekau said in a mayoral update note.
The new buildings will be constructed at a 5-acre site at 45 Orland Square Drive, Lelo said.
